Cookie Policy

Essential technologies support security, consent handling and core site functionality. They cannot always be disabled without affecting the service.

Weather24.live may store preferences such as:

• Celsius or Fahrenheit
• selected language or country
• saved places
• the installed app's default city

Saved places use local browser storage under weather24.savedPlaces.v2 and are not synchronized to a Weather24.live user-account database. Valid legacy data under weather24.savedPlaces.v1 is migrated locally to the current format and the legacy entry is removed.

The installed app's default city uses localStorage key weather24.pwaDefaultPlace.v1. It stores the city's placeId, name, countryCode, canonicalPath, installedFromPath, savedAt and updatedAt. It does not contain precise GPS coordinates.

No account, SQL database write or server-stored user profile is required for this preference.

Precise browser geolocation is requested and used only after you actively click “My location” and the browser grants or retains permission for that active flow. It is not started automatically when you return to the home page, including when permission was granted earlier.

Separate IP-based approximate latitude and longitude, country, region or city hints may be supplied by Cloudflare with the request. They are approximate, are not browser GPS and do not grant browser geolocation permission.

A Weather24 service worker may store previously visited city pages and versioned static assets locally in your browser for offline use. A cached forecast is labelled “Du är offline” (You are offline) and “Senast tillgängliga prognos” (Latest available forecast) with its visible update time; it is not presented as live data.

You can remove the installed-app preference and service-worker cache by clearing Weather24.live site data in your browser.

Analytics may be used to understand site performance, errors and aggregated usage. Non-essential analytics must respect applicable consent choices.

If advertising is enabled, advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers for delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, frequency control and personalization where consent has been given.

Weather24.live uses InMobi Choice to manage consent and privacy choices in supported regions. The consent interface should allow visitors to accept, reject or manage categories and vendors.

Installing Weather24 does not by itself activate analytics or advertising. Installation never bypasses InMobi Choice or your consent choices; non-essential analytics and advertising remain subject to the same consent controls.

Use “Cookie Settings” or “Privacy Choices” in the footer to review or change choices.

You may also remove cookies, localStorage and service-worker cache through your browser settings. Removing Weather24.live site data may delete saved places, the installed-app default city, cached pages and other preferences.
